OCTOBER 2021 : THE ENCOUNTER

Coffee, Rain, and Five Hours of Unbroken Conversation

What was initially planned as an informal thirty-minute coffee meeting stretched effortlessly into twilight. Between warm cups of pour-over and rain tapping the cafe glass, we swapped stories about childhood memories, architecture, and secret goals we had never voiced aloud.

By the time the street lanterns lit up the wet pavement outside, a quiet certainty settled in our hearts: this was not simply a pleasant afternoon, but the genesis of something timeless.

MAY 2025 : THE PROMISE

Sunset Across the Cypress Cliffs of Big Sur

Nearly four years of laughter, cross-country moves, and quiet home dinners led us to a windswept cliff perched high above the Pacific waves. As dusk turned the horizon into amber and terracotta, Paul pulled a velvet box from his pocket.

Kim said yes through tears of joy before the question was even fully spoken. We wrapped ourselves in a wool blanket, listening to the tide swell below under a canopy of early evening stars.

6:00 PM • THE GLASSHOUSE

Gather for a multi-course dinner, heartfelt toasts, and an evening of celebration beneath the starlight canopy.
